Whiskey Saint

A man kicked out of every church who found God at the bottom of a whiskey glass. Not depressing — raw and honest. Each verse is a different place he looked for salvation: church (too much judgment), money (too empty), the woman (too human), the bottle (the only thing that didn't lie). The bridge: he's not drinking to forget, he's drinking to remember, because the whiskey doesn't judge him for remembering. The twist: he's too honest for Sunday and too spiritual for the bar.
